100k

Introduction

The 100K is the emblematic race of Bariloche100. It is a route that is carried out in a “non stop” format and of self-sufficiency between the supply points.

It can be divided into three very defined parts.

NEW TRAIL ROUTE!

Starting from Centro Civico, more ascent and difficulty

At Daytime

The test will begin at dawn on March 14, from Centro Cívico. The start time is stipulated so that night traffic is less and that most of the route and the best landscapes can be enjoyed by day by all participants. It is also safer, since they will be traveling the most difficult routes in daylight.

Who can run the 100k?

Every runner who has consciously trained for such a requirement, understanding the difficulty, the slope and the necessary experience. Keep in mind that the average pace to complete the 100k is much tighter than the 80k and due to the difficulty the cuts are going to be STRICT AND “TIGHTER”. For those who feel they are at the limit of that time, we recommend participating in the 80k distance. See in “time cuts” the maximum time to complete the race.

We recommend having done at least two 50k tests and one 70k test previously. The 100k route goes through more technical terrain than usual in this distance, therefore the time of realization and effort is greater.
